LUCHINO VISCONTI (1960)
The film tells the story of the Parondi’s Family leaving their village in the south of Italy to reach Vincenzo, the eldest of 5 brothers, who lives in Milan.
The main theme of the story is the internal migration that characterized the post-war period in Italy and the clash between two different lifestyles: the mother and the brothers come from a small village and find themselves living in the great modern city, which represents the industrial society of the twentieth century. Each brother will face the change differently. The story will eventually have a dramatic epilogue.
