c4) Revenge

c4 revenge

Attila’s capture and killing are an analogy of Mussolini’s capture and killing.

Both are captured and killed by the people: in one case by the peasants in the other by the partisans. A way to create a link between these two categories of people, which often coincided.

The analogy is strengthened by the presence of pigs, a way to remember the end reserved for Mussolini, exposed in Piazzale Loreto, whose corpse was hung upside down, as is done with pigs when they are slaughtered.
